Lafayette 73, Moravian 56

EASTON, Pa. (AP) -- Andrei Capusan scored 15 points -- 13 in the
second half -- and Bilal Abdullah added 13 as Lafayette beat
Moravian 73-56 on Wednesday night.

The Leopards (3-6) started slow and trailed 11-6 early in the
first half, but went on a 17-0 run that put them up 23-11 with 9:39
to go in the half. Abdullah closed the first half with a
buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give Lafayette a 37-26 halftime lead.

Moravian (3-7) cut the lead to nine with a pair of 3-pointers by
Ryan Miller, but Abdullah keyed an 11-2 run with a pair of free
throws, an assist and a steal and dunk in the span of 50 seconds to
give Lafayette a 69-51 lead with 2:38 to go.

Brandon Zaleski led Moravian with 21 points and Zach Zsilavecz
added 12 points for the Greyhounds.

Lafayette's Matt Betley was guarded by his brother Chris, a
junior guard for Moravian, for part of the first half. Their
cousin, Pat, a junior for Lafayette, rejoined the team after
missing five games due to an injury. All three players scored in
the game.
