BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- Taylor Coppenrath and T.J. Sorrentine combined for 57 points as Vermont beat Hartford 89-45 Sunday.

Coppenrath scored 20 of his game-high 35 points in the first half as Vermont jumped out to a 35-22 lead. Sorrentine scored 19 of his 22 points after the break when he went five-for-seven from three-point range.

In outscoring Hartford 54-22 in the second half, the Catamounts (6-3, 2-0 America East) went 62 percent from the floor and made 10 of 15 three-point attempts.

Josh Duell added 11 points and five rebounds for Vermont. The Hawks (3-7, 0-2) were led by Bernard Lowndes and Bo Taylor who each came off the bench to score 12 points.<
