Lafayette 65, Columbia 62

EASTON, Pa. (AP) -- Sean Knitter was one of three players with 11
points and scored the go-ahead basket with 26.4 seconds remaining
to lead Lafayette over Columbia 65-62 on Sunday.

Knitter's offensive rebound and put-back gave Lafayette a
one-point lead and Columbia's Dragutin Kravic missed a 3-pointer
with four seconds remaining to seal the win for the Leopards.

Marcus Harley and Bilal Abdullah also scored 11 points each for
Lafayette (4-7). Kravic led Columbia (7-4) with 15 points.

Columbia took a 36-34 lead at the half, and the game was close
right up to the final seconds.

Lafayette's Jamaal Hilliard pulled down the rebound of Kravic's
final attempt and then hit both free throws for the final margin.

Jeremiah Boswell had 14 points for Columbia, while Tito Hill
added 10.
