Mid-American), who scored 22 points off 16 Kent State turnovers.
Nate Gerwig had nine points and 10 rebounds for Kent State,
which couldn't bounce back from a tough loss at Boston College on
Wednesday. The Golden Flashes lost on a last-second shot by Craig
Smith in that game, then came out flat against the Cardinals.
Ball State, which got 12 points and six rebounds from Julien
Mills, shot 52 percent in the first half and committed just 12

see after watching his team fall behind 17-2 in the first five
minutes of a 71-59 loss at Indiana on Tuesday.
