UT-Chattanooga 76, Austin Peay 68

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Mindaugas Katelynas scored 21 points
and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Chattanooga to a 76-68 victory over
Austin Peay on Monday night.

The Mocs (7-3) tied the game at 19 on a 3-point shot by A.J.
Mastin with 11:44 left in the first half, then took the lead on
another 3-pointer by Mastin at the 10:11 mark and never trailed

Chris Brown scored 18 points, Casey Long 12 and Steve Cherry 10
for Chattanooga, which shot 56.8 percent from the field and
dominated the boards 41-25.

Maurice Hampton scored 20 points to lead the Governors (2-10),
which lost its fourth straight game at home for the first time
since the 1992-93 season, when they went 7-20.

Anthony Davis scored 17 points for the Governors and Derek
Wright added 10.

After taking a 45-36 halftime lead, Chattanooga stretched its
advantage to 53-38 with 16:06 left in the game after a 3-pointer by

Austin Peay fought back and eventually pulled within 58-54 with
9:14 to play on a jumper by Davis.

That would be as close as the Governors would get, with
Chattanooga stretching its lead back to as many as 11 at 72-61 with
3:38 left to play.

The Mocs' bench outscored Austin Peay's 27-8.
