High Point 75, Utah Valley State 51

HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -- Zione White led three players in
double-digit scoring with 16 points to lift High Point to a 75-51
victory over Utah Valley State on Monday.

Danny Gathings added 12 points and Mark Wilson had 11 points for
the Panthers (5-8).

High Point scored 42 points inside the paint and converted 22
Wolverines turnovers into 25 points.

Ronnie Price, one of the top scorers in the nation, led the
Wolverines (4-9) with 17 points and six rebounds.

The Wolverines came within five points on a jump shot by Price
in the opening seconds of the second half to make it 37-32, but
they would get no closer.

The Panthers took their first double-digit lead at the 9:58 mark
of the second half on a layup by Jerry Echenique to make it 54-44.

High Point coasted the rest of the way to a 24-point win.
