BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- Lenny Collins scored 14 points and Khaliq
Gant scored all of his nine points on second-half 3-pointers to
help Cornell rally to a 55-45 win over Lehigh on Tuesday night.
Lehigh (6-7) opened the game with an 11-0 run, but Cornell (5-7)
held the Mountain Hawks scoreless in the last seven minutes of the
first half and trailed 19-15 at halftime.
After going 0-for-9 from beyond the arc in the first half, the
Big Red got hot from long range after halftime, hitting all six of
their 3-point attempts and leading by as much as 13 after the
Joe Knight led Lehigh with 14 points.
Neither team shot well in the first half, Cornell going just
6-for-23 while Lehigh made 7 of 20 shots.
Lehigh's point total was the lowest since the Mountain Hawks'
48-point performance against Colgate in February.
