LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- David Doubley scored 15 points and
Jasko Korajkic added 14 to lead Pacific to a 68-60 victory over
Long Beach State Thursday night.

The Tigers (9-2, 4-0 Big West Conference) have won five straight
games and seven of their last eight. They improved to 5-1 on the
road.

Christian Maraker scored 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds for
the Tigers, who have beaten Long Beach State (2-10, 0-3) in four of
their last five meetings.

The Tigers made 25 of 47 shots (53.2 percent) and out-rebounded
the 49ers 33-26.

After Johnny Gray's basket gave Pacific a 52-32 lead with 12:12
to play, Long Beach State went on an 18-5 run to cut the lead to
57-50 with 6:10 remaining.

But the 49ers shooting went cold and Pacific built the lead to
63-51 with 3:24 left after a basket by Doubley.

Jibril Hodges cut the Tigers' lead to 63-57 with 1:47 remaining
after making three free throws, but Long Beach State scored just
one more basket and Pacific converted four free throws down the
stretch to secure the victory.

Chris Jenkins scored 15 points and Hodges added 10 for the
49ers.
