Binghamton 65, Maine 52

VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Alex Adediran scored a career-high 18 points
and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Binghamton to a 65-52 win over
Maine Thursday night.

Adediran was 7-of-10 from the floor and scored 11 of his points
in the second half. Schafer Jackson made three 3-pointers and
scored 11 of his 14 points after the break.

The Bearcats (4-8, 1-2 America East) led by six at halftime but
held a 40-38 margin with 9:52 to play before Adediran hit a jumper
and Jackson followed with a 3-pointer 20 seconds later to boost the
lead to seven, 45-38. Maine (7-4, 2-0) didn't come closer than five
the rest of the way.

Billy Williams had 11 points and five steals for Binghamton.

Mark Flavin led Maine with 16 points and Jermaine Jackson added
13. Joe Campbell had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Black Bears,
who shot just 36 percent.
