BOSTON (AP) -- Matt Wolff scored 15 points and Kevin Gardner added 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead Boston University to a 69-54 victory over Binghamton on Sunday.

The Terriers (10-3) won for the fifth time in six games and improved to 4-0 in the America East Conference for the third consecutive season.

Andre Heard led had 10 points for Binghamton (4-9, 1-3), which is 0-7 against Boston University since joining the conference in 2001-02.

Boston University broke open a tight game with a 16-1 run at the end of the first half.

Following a three-point play from Etienne Brower, the Terriers forced turnovers on consecutive inbounds plays and converted them into layups to push its lead to 39-27 with 24 seconds left in the half.

The Terriers then struck for two quick baskets to open the second half as Shaun Wynn's 3-pointer with 18:28 left made it 44-28. Binghamton got as close as 55-47, but the Terriers responded with a 13-3 run.
