Battle added 11 more to help lift Buffalo to a come-from-behind
56-54 win over Toledo Sunday.
The Bulls (9-3, 2-2 Mid-American Conference) defeated the
Rockets for the first time in nine tries, and have won six of their
last seven games overall.Down by 15 with under 12 minutes remaining, Buffalo went on a
22-2 run to take a 53-48 lead with 3:56 to go. Battle and Jordan
combined for 13 points during the game-turning span. The Rockets
were held pointless for 7:41 during the stretch until Keith
Triplett made a pair of free throws with 3 1/2 minutes left.Toledo (5-7, 1-2) had a chance to tie, but missed on four
opportunities from the field over the final 14 seconds, including
Allen Pinson's five-footer with three seconds to go.Battle also added seven assists and Mark Bortz had 10 rebounds
as Buffalo improved to 5-1 at home this season.Triplett led the Rockets with 24 points, and Anton Currie added
