DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Freshman Norman Plummer came off the bench
to score 12 points, and Dayton never trailed in its 62-51 victory
over Cornell on Sunday night.
Dayton opened the game on a 13-4 run, and led 25-18 at the half.
The Big Red trailed 62-40 with 3:50 to play, but cut the margin to
62-49 with 55 seconds left on a 3-pointer by Cody Toppert and two
3-pointers by Will Scott.
The Flyers finished with a 28-16 advantage on points in the
paint and a 14-0 edge on fast break points.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, but had to be
postponed due to flooding in the area.
