STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) -- Ron Coleman scored 12 points, all on four second-half 3-pointers, as Michigan defeated Penn State 66-62 Saturday.

The Wolverines (12-5, 3-0 Big Ten) remained undefeated in conference play, winning their sixth straight game this season and their seventh straight over the Nittany Lions (6-11, 0-4).

The Lions pulled to within 59-57 with less than two minutes remaining, but Coleman hit his fourth 3-pointer of the half to put Michigan up by five, ending any suspense.

Penn State had captured a brief 37-35 lead early in the second half and kept things close until Coleman got hot, hitting two 3-pointers in a span of a minute to turn a 1-point Michigan lead into a 50-43 advantage.

Coleman was held scoreless in the first half on just 0-of-2 shooting, but finished 4-of-9 from the floor and 4-of-8 from behind the arc.

While Coleman was cold in the first half, Dion Harris hit three 3-pointers in four minutes and had all 14 of his points by halftime.

The Lions were led by Travis Parker, who had 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-6 on 3-pointers. Penn State also got 13 points from Geary Claxton and Ben Luber, plus 11 from Aaron Johnson.

Graham Brown scored 13 points off the bench for the Wolverines.
