SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) -- Chrismen Oliver scored a career-high 21 points as UC Santa Barbara ended Cal State Northridge's six-game winning streak with a 65-52 victory Thursday night.

The win was the third straight for the Gauchos (7-8, 4-3 Big West Conference), who have beaten the Matadors (8-8, 6-2) six straight times in Santa Barbara.

UC Santa Barbara shot 57.1 percent in the second half (46.4 overall) to overcome a 25-24 halftime deficit. Oliver, who made 9 of 15 shots which included 3-for-6 from behind the 3-point line, scored 16 points in the second half.

Ian Boylan led Northridge with 17 points and eight rebounds.

The Gauchos, who are down to just seven players because of a string of injuries, got 11 points and six rebounds from Alex Harris.

UCSB held Northridge to just 36 percent shooting which included just 5-for-20 from behind the 3-point line.
