DELAND, Fla. (AP) -- Antonio Cool scored 16 points and Haminn
Quaintance grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Jacksonville to a 70-58
victory over Stetson on Wednesday night.
Jesse Kimbrough and B.J. Surry each contributed 15 points for
the Dolphins (10-8, 6-5 Atlantic Sun), who won for the fifth time
in their last six games. Ljubisa Vrcelj added nine points and 10
rebounds for Jacksonville.
E.J. Gordon led Stetson (7-11, 5-6) with 15 points but made just
4-of-16 shots from the floor. The Hatters also got 14 points from
Borislav Djordjic and 13 from Anthony Register as Stetson shot just
33.9 percent on the night.
Kimbrough hit 9-of-11 free throws in the second half as
Jacksonville held Stetson to no field goals for nearly nine minutes
down the stretch.
The win was coach Hugh Durham's 100th at Jacksonville and puts
him eight victories shy of breaking Rollie Rourke's school-record
of 107 victories. Durham has 627 wins overall.
Jacksonville played without David Lee, who averages 11.8 points.
