Delaware 76, William & Mary 47

NEWARK, Del. (AP) -- Harding Nana scored 16 points and grabbed
eight rebounds to lead Delaware to a 76-47 victory over William &
Mary on Saturday.

Andrew Washington contributed 14 points and Sam McMahon another
12 points to Delaware (9-14, Colonial Athletic Association 6-6).

Corey Cofield led William & Mary (5-16, 1-11) with 11 points.
Hawley Smith contributed 10 points and seven rebounds to the Tribe.

Octavius Flowers and Robin Wentt each chipped in with nine
points for Delaware and Mike Slattery added eight points, seven
rebounds, and seven assists.

William & Mary shot just 32 percent from the field, 16 of 49,
and misfired on all 10 3-point attempts.

The Blue Hens had a 34-15 lead at halftime and took a 31-point
lead with 1:03 left to play. Delaware kept the Tribe scoreless for
seven minutes and 48 seconds in the second half.

It is Delaware's seventh consecutive win over William & Mary,
and it was the Tribe's 11th loss in the last 12 outings.
