MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) -- Davin White scored 23 points in Cal State
Northridge's 59-54 victory over Idaho Saturday.
Northridge (13-10, 10-4 Big West) held Idaho without a field
goal the last 6:05 of play and scored the final six points of the
Idaho (8-16, 6-7) led by as many as 12 points in the first half
but was held to 18 percent shooting in the second half.
The Vandals made 4 of 22 shots against a Northridge defense that
leads the conference in steals and turnover margin.
Dandrick Jones scored 21 points to lead the Vandals, who lost
for the second straight time at home after opening the conference
season with five straight home victories.
Ian Boylan added 14 points for Northridge and made 9 of 10 free
Boylan and White combined to score 17 points from the free-throw
line, 11 more than Idaho scored from the free-throw line as a team.
The game was tied nine times, the final time at 53-53 following
a pair of free throws by Idaho's Anton Lyons. Another Lyons free
throw gave Idaho its final lead of the game with 3:45 to play.
