HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- Mike Lang scored 18 points and had six
assists as Dartmouth downed Cornell 67-54 Friday night.
Dartmouth (7-15, 4-5 Ivy) assumed control at the start of the
game and built a 14-3 lead on a Paul Bode jumper with 14:09 on the
clock. At halftime, Dartmouth held a 34-12 advantage.
The lead went to 22 points just 5:44 into the second half.
Dartmouth put together a 12-2 run, capped off by David Gardner's
layup. Dartmouth's largest lead at 27 points, 53-26, came with
11:29 on the clock when Bode netted another jumper.
Jason Canady led Cornell (10-12, 5-4) with 20 points. With a
layup, Canady helped Cornell reduce the lead to nine, 63-54, with
35 seconds remaining.
