alone atop the A-10 West.

The Colonials shot 45 percent from the field, scoring 48 points
inside, getting 39 points from the bench and finished with four

down 4-9 to the last-place Dukes. The Colonials moved ahead at the

Rice, whose no-look backpass found Pinnock resulting in a slam,
free throw and 10-9 lead that was never relinquished.

With Duquesne (6-19, 3-9) keeping the pressure on, George
Washington hung onto the lead, extending to 10 points going into
halftime after four Thompson free throws in the final 57 seconds of
play in the half.

Bryant McAllister, coming off a 4-point game made it to double

Duquesne team in the midst of a five-game losing streak. Jack
Higgins added 10 for the Dukes.
