SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- John Ford scored 14 points as McNeese
State won its fourth straight with a 73-68 victory over Texas State
on Thursday night.
Ford hit three 3-pointers, including one that broke a tie game
and put McNeese State (13-11, 6-7 Southland Conference) ahead for
good with 1:24 remaining. Andrew Queen, who scored 11 points off
the bench, also hit three 3-pointers.Roderick Adams had 14 points for Texas State (13-12, 7-7), which
trailed by 17 points in the first half before rallying.Josh Naylor added 11 points. Anthony Dill and Andre Oupoh also
scored 10 points each for the Bobcats.
