Binghamton 65, Boston U. 48

VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Andre Heard scored 16 points to lead
Binghamton to a 65-48 win over Boston University Sunday.

Nick Billings added 13 points for Binghamton (10-16, 7-10
America East) and Billy Williams chipped in 12.

The Bearcats started the game by hitting eight of their first 11
shots, and opened up a 30-11 lead with 8:31 to play in the first

The Terriers (20-7, 14-4) missed seven of their first nine
shots, but came back with an 11-0 run to cut the margin to eight,
30-22, with 2:54 to play in the half.

Binghamton's Troy Hailey responded with back-to-back
three-pointers to push the lead back to 14 at halftime.

The Bearcats never let Boston University come any closer than 13
points throughout the second half and held the Terriers to 34.9
percent shooting for the game.

Boston was led by Rashad Bell's 13 points. He went 9-for-9 from
the free throw line.
