HAMPTON, Va. (AP) -- Aaron Williams scored 16 as Delaware State
snapped Hampton's five-game winning streak with a 64-54 win Monday
night.
Jahsha Bluntt added 13 points for Delaware State (15-13, 13-4
Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference), which scored 22 points off 22
Hampton turnovers. Williams had 11 of his points from the charity
stripe.
Bruce Brown scored 12 for Hampton (14-12, 12-5), and Brandon
Streeter came off the bench to add 11.
Hampton held Delaware State to 26.1 percent shooting in the
first half and led 27-19 at the break. Delaware State turned it on
in the second half, shooting 52.2 percent and sinking 17-of-22 free
throws to come out on top.
