SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- Dreike Bouldin scored a career-high 22 points while Fresno State matched its season high with 12 3-pointers in a 74-55 win over San Jose State on Thursday.

Bouldin also had 10 rebounds and keyed the Bulldogs' perimeter shooting with three 3-pointers. His soaring one-handed dunk in the midst of a 10-2 run in the second half gave Fresno State its biggest lead of the game at 71-49.

Ja'Vance Coleman had 14 points and Dwight O'Neil added 12 for the Bulldogs (15-12, 9-8 WAC), who snapped a three-game losing streak with their 12th consecutive win over the Spartans.

Alex Elam scored 17 points and Marquin Chandler added 16 points and six rebounds for San Jose State (6-21, 3-14), which extended its losing streak to a season-high nine games.

Fresno State had struggled in the second half of each of its last four losses but didn't have that problem against the overmatched Spartans. After watching a nine-point lead in the first half evaporate, the Bulldogs went on an 18-5 run early in the second half to take control for good.

Bouldin, whose previous career-high of 20 points came on Feb. 16 against Tulsa, had 10 points in the first half against San Jose State, then helped Fresno State pull away in the second half.

After his dunk put the Bulldogs ahead 65-46, Bouldin added a 3-pointer and a free throw before O'Neil's putback gave the team a 71-49 lead.

The Bulldogs led most of the first half and were ahead 26-17 with eight minutes remaining before San Jose State went on a 13-3 run to take a brief lead. Dwight O'Neil then sank a 12-foot jumper just before time expired to put Fresno State back in front, 31-30.
