SAN FRANCISCO (Ticker) -- Cal State-Fullerton got nothing from
its bench against San Francisco in the first round of the NIT.
It did not matter.

Bobby Brown scored 25 points as the Titans used a dominant
second half to defeat the Dons, 85-69.

Ralphy Holmes collected 19 points and 13 rebounds and Jamaal
Brown added 18 and 11 for Cal State-Fullerton (21-10), which
received no points from its bench.

The Titans, who face Georgetown in the second round, outscored
the Dons in the second half, 57-39.

John Cox and Jerome Gumbs scored 17 points apiece for the Dons
(17-14), who shot just 35 percent (27-of-77) and allowed the
Titans to connect on 48 percent (27-of-56), including 10-of-20
from the arc.

Cal State-Fullerton made 21-of-25 free throws, while San
Francisco went just 8-of-11 from the line.
