The Spiders (3-1) held Seton Hall without a field goal for the
first 10:55 of the second half.
Seton Hall (3-2) took its only lead when Brian Laing's jumper
gave the Pirates a 17-16 lead with 6:57 left in the first half.
Seton Hall missed five of its next seven field goals and had three
turnovers as Richmond took a 26-21 halftime lead.
Steenberge's six points keyed a 14-0 Richmond run opening the
second half. The Spiders outscored Seton Hall 17-1 before Donald
Copeland's layup with 9:05 remaining cut the Spiders' lead to
43-24. It was the first of 18 second-half points by Copeland.
Copeland finished with a 22 points.
The Spiders shot 43.5 percent for the game and held Seton Hall
