HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Antoine Agudio scored 15 of his 19 points in the opening half as Hofstra kept Binghamton winless with a 69-55 victory Thursday night.

Carlos Rivera added 13 points and seven assists for the Pride (3-1), who were coming off a victory over St. John's on Tuesday. Adrian Uter had 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, and Loren Stokes had 10 points for Hofstra.

Sebastian Hermenier scored 17 points, and Troy Hailey added 12 for the Bearcats (0-5).

Zygis Sestokas scored all five of his points in Hofstra's game-opening 17-7 run, capped by Stokes' foul shot at 13:44.

Binghamton answered with an 18-5 spurt, led by Andre Heard's five points, to get as close as 25-22 at 6:15. Heard finished the rally with a 3-pointer.

But Hofstra took control by opening the second half with a 22-9 run -- led by Rivera's seven points -- that gave the Pride their largest lead at 59-39 on Stokes' 3-pointer at 10:58.
