LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Matthew Knight had 20 points and 12 rebounds as Loyola Marymount beat UC Santa Barbara 77-60 Saturday night.

The win was the first of the season for the Lions, who opened with four straight losses.

Jon Ziri scored 16 for Loyola Marymount (1-4), Brandon Worthy had 15 and Wes Wardrop added 14.

The Lions finished the first half with a 27-6 run and held UC Santa Barbara (2-3) without a field goal for the final 8:38 of the first half.

Loyola Marymount would lead by as many as 26 in the second half.

Alex Harris led UC Santa Barbara with 15 points. The Gauchos have lost three straight.
