added 15 to snap a three-game losing streak for Cornell in a 57-53
victory over Lehigh on Sunday.
Lehigh (3-5) was ahead 29-16 by the end of the first period and
widened its lead to 36-20 by the 17:38 mark of the second half.Cornell (3-5) chipped away from there, using a 9-0 run in a
three-minute span to pull within a single point with 8:43
remaining.Jason Mgebroff converted an offensive rebound into a basket to
pull Lehigh ahead by two points with 5 minutes to play.Gore then hit 3s on consecutive possessions to bring the Big Red
up four points with four minutes left to play.Lehigh shot 31 percent from the field for the game, including
just 28 percent in the second half. Cornell hit 39 percent of its
shots, with 52 percent in the final 20 minutes.
