The Terriers (1-5) went on a 20-6 run starting late in the first
half to snap an eight-game losing streak dating back to last
Harvard (5-2) was playing without center Brian Cusworth, who
broke his left hand in Saturdays loss to Central Connecticut. The
Crimson shot just 34 percent from the field and 56 percent from the
free-throw line. Leading scorer Jim Goffredo was held to 10 points.
Matt Stehle, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Harvard, made
three free throws with 2:25 remaining in the first half to give the
Crimson its only lead of the game, 30-28. But the Terriers pulled
ahead 37-32 by halftime.
Stehle's layup with 4:19 left pulled Harvard to within five
points, 64-59, but BU sealed the win on its next possession when
Wynn grabbed an offensive rebound and assisted on Konate's dunk.
