SE Louisiana 76, Belhaven 70

HAMMOND, La. (AP) -- Terry Bryant made seven of eight free throws
in the last 53 seconds as the Lions held off Belhaven 76-70 in a
foul-ridden game.

Daryl Cohen scored 16 points to lead five players in double
figures for Southeastern (5-1), which came from 10 points behind to
take a 42-27 halftime lead over Belhaven (3-4).

Ricky Woods, who got two fouls in the first 1:12 of the game,
finished with 14 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Quennell Green
and Chris Lee added 12 points each. Bryant, who missed the four
previous games with an ankle injury, had 10 points.

Justin Pierce and James Bryant each had 18 points for Belhaven.

The Lions were ahead 63-48 with 3:48 remaining, but Belhaven
came within two points several times in the last minute.

Belhaven ended with 31 fouls and Southeastern with 25.
