Montana 81, Miss. Valley St. 57

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Senior Kevin Criswell scored 18 points
and junior Andrew Strait added 17 to lead Montana over Mississippi
Valley State 81-57 on Friday at the Drake Regency Classic.

The Grizzlies (6-1) maintained a 20-point lead until the 12:49
mark in the second half. The Delta Devils (0-4) cut the lead to 13
points with 3:49 remaining, but Montana closed on a 12-1 run to
finish the game.

The Grizzlies lead 44-25 at the half.

The team continued its hot shooting, hitting 51.9 percent from
the field and 76.9 percent from the free-throw line. MVSU was
limited to 36.5 percent shooting.

Criswell made 3-of-5 three-pointers en route to his team-high 18
points. Strait added seven rebounds while sophomore Mike Chavez
tallied 12 points and six rebounds off the bench. Sophomore Matt
Martin added nine points on 3-of-5 shooting from the three-point

Tyschicus Snow had a game-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting to
lead the Delta Devils. He was the only player to reach double

The win was Montana's sixth straight. The Griz play Drake (5-2)
for the championship Saturday night.
