NEW YORK (AP) -- Brett Loscalzo scored all of his 13 points in the last nine minutes as Columbia held off a late rally for a 71-67 win over Lafayette on Saturday.

Columbia (6-2) led by as many as 18 points, 54-36, on Ben Nwachukwu's layup with 9:50 left.

Bilal Abdullah led the rally for the Leopards (4-5), scoring seven of his 16 points to help cut the lead to 68-64.

Single free throws by Mack Montgomery, John Baumann and Loscalzo gave Columbia a 71-64 lead before Andrew Brown's 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Brown finished with 10 points for Lafayette, while Nwachukwu led the Lions with 15 points and Baumann had 14.

Columbia's domination of the boards, 46-22, helped end a two-game losing streak. The Leopards have lost three of their last four.
