    VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Luke Ruscoe scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Brown to a 71-61 win over Binghamton Saturday.

    The Bears (2-5) were down 36-32 at halftime but went on a 21-7 run to open the second half. Damon Huffman and Marcus Becker had 15 points apiece, while Keenan Jeppesen added 11.

    Binghamton (1-6) was held to 28 percent shooting in the second half, missing 11 of its first 12 shots. Down by 10 points with seven minutes remaining, the Bearcats narrowed the gap to three points several times but couldn't get any closer.

    Andre Heard led Binghamton with 19 points. Sebastian Hermenier scored 12 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.
