Coastal Carolina 81, Jacksonville 66

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) -- Jack Leasure tied his career high with 25
points to lead Coastal Carolina to an 81-66 victory over
Jacksonville on Sunday.

Leasure, a sophomore who left snowy Rochester, N.Y., for South
Carolina's Grand Strand resort region, made four 3-pointers and
added nine assists, also a career best, for the Chanticleers (2-3).
Leasure's points performance matched his output in a Big South
Conference tournament loss to Winthrop this past March.

Pele Paelay added 23 points as Coastal Carolina won its second
straight home game for first-year coach Buzz Peterson.

The Chants never trailed in this one, leading by 13 points at
halftime. Jacksonville (1-4) has lost two straight.

Aubrey Conerly led Jacksonville with 21 points, including going
11 of 11 from the foul line. Marcus Allen added 14 points and a
game-high 11 rebounds for the Dolphins.
