Central Florida 63, Norfolk State 47

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Mike O'Donnell led four Central Florida
scorers in double figures with 15 points and Josh Peppers and
Justin Rose added 12 points each as the Knights defeated Norfolk
State 63-47 Friday.

Central Florida (5-2) used a 14-3 run midway through the second
half to pull away from the Spartans (2-6). The Knights led by as
many as 17 at 48-31.

Norfolk State took a 23-22 lead with 18:33 left on a jump shot
by Calvin Brown, but a pair of three-pointers by Peppers and one by
Justin Rose put Central Florida up 31-25.

A dunk by Peppers with 14 minutes remaining brought the crowd to
its feet and put the Knights up by seven. Rose added five rebounds
and six assists for Central Florida. Marcus Johnson finished with
11 points. Calvin Brown finished with a game-high 16 points for
Norfolk State.

The Knights led 20-19 at halftime despite hitting only two field
goals and scoring six points in the final 10:25. Central Florida
led by as many as seven points in the first 20 minutes.
