Lamar 86, Tulsa 78

BEAUMONT, Texas (AP) -- Alan Daniels scored 25 points as Lamar
won its fifth straight game 86-78 over Tulsa on Saturday night.

Matthew Barrow and Nashid Beard contributed 16 each for Lamar
(6-4), and Barrow made 10 of 15 free throws. Forward Thomas Fairley
had 13 points and 11 rebounds. The winning streak is Lamar's
longest in seven years.

Tulsa (3-5) was led by Charles Ramsdell, who had 21 points and
eight rebounds. Brett McDade scored 21 points, and Anthony Price
had 16 off the bench.

Lamar trailed 38-34 at halftime in a game that was tied 11 times
and had 14 lead changes.

Tulsa shot 48 percent in the first half but slumped to 39
percent after halftime, including 13 percent on 3-pointers
(2-of-13). Lamar shot 56 percent in the second half and 49 percent
for the game.
