Northern Iowa 76, Florida A&M 53

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) -- Ben Jacobson scored 14 points, Grant
Stout added 10 points and 11 rebounds and Northern Iowa shot
11-for-23 from 3-point range to beat Florida A&M 76-53 on Saturday

UNI (7-1) led by as much as 28 points in picking up its 11th
consecutive home win, and fourth straight overall.

The Panthers, who never trailed, jumped out to an early 15-4
lead. FAMU (3-5) closed to 16-10, but UNI went on a 14-3 run to
push its lead to 30-13 late in the first half.

UNI led 37-24 at the break. The Panthers outrebounded the
Rattlers 42-28 and forced 18 turnovers.

Jacobson shot 4-of-7 from 3-point range.

Rome Sanders and Tony Tate each scored 12 for FAMU. Erik
Crawford scored nine points, grabbed six rebounds and had out three
assists for UNI.
