Youngstown State 72, Duquesne 51

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) -- Keston Roberts scored 24 points and Quin
Humphrey had 20 points and 11 rebounds to help Youngstown State
beat Duquesne 72-51 on Saturday.

The Penguins (2-6) opened the game with an 11-2 run and never
trailed. They led by as many as 23 late in the second half.

John Barber also had 13 points for Youngstown State, which
outrebounded the Dukes 36-26 and held them to 38.5 percent
shooting. The Penguins connected on 19 of 26 free throws, compared
with 5-for-6 for Duquesne.

DeVario Hudson led the Dukes (1-6) with 15 points and Jack
Higgins finished with 13. Bryant McAllister scored 10 points.

Humphrey scored 11 points in the first half as the Penguins
raced out to a 40-23 lead at the break. The Dukes committed 10
turnovers before intermission.

Derrick Harris passed for six assists and also had two steals
for the Penguins, who shot 48 percent from the field.
