BOSTON (AP) -- Drew Housman scored a career-high 21 points and
Matt Stehle added 13 points as Harvard came from behind to beat
Colgate 68-59 on Tuesday night.
The Crimson (8-3) also got 13 points from Jim Goffredo as they
handed head coach Frank Sullivan his most non-conference wins in
his 15-year Harvard career.Alvin Reed paced Colgate with 14 points while Jon Simon added
10.Harvard was 30 of 39 from the free throw line and outrebounded
the Raiders 43-24.After trailing by as many as 11 in the first half, the Raiders
tied the game at 39-39 with 14:30 left in the game on a 3-pointer
by Kyle Chones.Dan Gentile's 3-pointer capped a 14-3 Colgate run that gave them
a 53-47 lead with 6:47 remaining.But Housman hit a 3-point shot with 5:06 on the clock to put
Harvard back on top 54-53.The Crimson never trailed after that to improve to 5-1 at home.Housman, Goffredo and Martin each scored six points for the
Crimson in the first half. They outrebounded Colgate 25-13 in that
half to lead 29-24 at halftime.
