    GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico (AP) -- Vernon Hamilton scored 18 points to lead undefeated Clemson to a 71-48 victory Tuesday over Holy Cross in the semifinals of the San Juan Shootout.

    Clemson (10-0) used a full-court press in the second half to hold Holy Cross (5-5) to seven points in the final eight minutes Forward Alex Vander Baan had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Crusaders, who led 25-24 at halftime.

    Cliff Hammonds added 15 points, six assists and three steals for the Tigers, who move on to the championship game Wednesday against the winner between Akron and Mississippi State.
