LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Wes Wilkinson scored 15 points, including 9
in a decisive 18-4 second-half run, to propel Nebraska to a 67-60
win over Alabama A&M on Wednesday.
Nebraska (8-2) led by as many as 8 early in the second half. But
a 5-point flurry by Alabama A&M (2-3) pulled the Bulldogs to within
3 with just under five minutes gone in the half.
Another McCray 3-pointer, a Wilkinson basket and two McCray free
throws stretched the Nebraska lead to 60-43 with 8:12 remaining.
Nebraska scored just 7 more points and gave up 16 points to the
Bulldogs, who cut the margin to 7 in the game's final minute.
Marcus Walker led Nebraska with 20 points and McCray had 14.
Nebraska played without center Aleks Maric, who went home to
Australia for Christmas break.
