LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Wes Wilkinson scored 15 points, including 9 in a decisive 18-4 second-half run, to propel Nebraska to a 67-60 win over Alabama A&M on Wednesday.

Nebraska (8-2) led by as many as 8 early in the second half. But a 5-point flurry by Alabama A&M (2-3) pulled the Bulldogs to within 3 with just under five minutes gone in the half.

Then came the Cornhusker run. After a B.J. Walker free throw and a Joe McCray 3-pointer, Wilkinson scored 7-straight points, putting Nebraska up 51-43 with 11:40 remaining.

Another McCray 3-pointer, a Wilkinson basket and two McCray free throws stretched the Nebraska lead to 60-43 with 8:12 remaining.

Nebraska scored just 7 more points and gave up 16 points to the Bulldogs, who cut the margin to 7 in the game's final minute.

Marcus Walker led Nebraska with 20 points and McCray had 14.

Joe Martin had 16 points to lead A&M and Obie Trotter had 14 for the Bulldogs.

Nebraska played without center Aleks Maric, who went home to Australia for Christmas break.
