DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -- Ian Johnson scored 17 points, leading five
players in double figures who helped Davidson to a 108-57 win over
Clark University on Wednesday night.
It was the 14th consecutive home win for the Wildcats (7-3), who
earned a season-high 15 3-pointers and scored in triple digits for
the fourth time this year. It's the first time they've had four
games at or above 100 points since the 1972-73 season.The Division III Cougars (4-4) lost their second straight game.Johnson scored his points in 16 minutes on 8-of-11 shooting.
Brendan Winters and Jason Morton each had 14 points, Eric Blancett
scored 11 in 11 minutes of play, and Jason Richards had 10.Tim Dutille, who led Clark with 18 points, opened the scoring.
But Davidson's Kenny Grant responded with a 3-pointer that put the
Wildcats ahead for good, including a 53-31 halftime lead.
