Portland State 84, Warner Pacific 75

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Juma Kamara scored 22 points to lead
Portland State to an 84-75 win over Warner Pacific on Wednesday.

Four other Vikings (5-6) scored in double figures, including
Ryan Sommer, Jake Schroeder, Tyler Hollist and Scott Morrison.

Scott Gallagher led Warner Pacific (12-2) with 23 points. Donny
Woods added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Portland-based NAIA
school that dropped its first road game of the season.

The Knights used an 18-2 run to take a surprising 26-10 lead
early in the first half. The Vikings cut the lead to 43-41 at
halftime, and took control with a 16-5 run to start the second

The taller Vikings outscored the Knights 42-24 in the paint and
outrebounded them 40-32.

Warner Pacific used only six players during the game.
