COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Joseph Jones scored a game-high 24 points as Texas A&M remained undefeated with a 72-67 victory over Auburn Thursday night.

Texas A&M (8-0) built a 21-10 lead midway through the first half. But Auburn fought back with a 16-5 run led by Rasheem Barrett to tie the score with four minutes remaining before halftime.

Auburn committed 14 fouls in the first half, while A&M shot below 35 percent.

The Aggies started the second half with a quick 12-5 run and held Auburn for six minutes without a field goal.

Auburn's Ronny LaMelle nailed back-to-back 3-pointers to keep the Tigers in the game.

Frank Tolbert led scoring for Auburn with 15, while LaMelle had 14, including 10 in the second half, and Quantez Robertson scored 10.

Acie Law scored 19 points for the Aggies, and Kenneth White came off the bench to add 10.

Jones returned after missing one game with an ankle injury. It was also Law's first game back after suffering a concussion on Dec. 10.
