COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Joseph Jones scored a game-high 24
points as Texas A&M remained undefeated with a 72-67 victory over
Auburn Thursday night.
Texas A&M (8-0) built a 21-10 lead midway through the first
half. But Auburn fought back with a 16-5 run led by Rasheem Barrett
to tie the score with four minutes remaining before halftime.Auburn committed 14 fouls in the first half, while A&M shot
below 35 percent.The Aggies started the second half with a quick 12-5 run and
held Auburn for six minutes without a field goal.Auburn's Ronny LaMelle nailed back-to-back 3-pointers to keep
the Tigers in the game.Frank Tolbert led scoring for Auburn with 15, while LaMelle had
