TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- Coby Karl scored 20 points to lead Boise State past San Francisco 69-58 in Thursday night's consolation game of the ASU Hoops Classic.

Eric Lane had 13 points, including a 3-pointer with 12:14 left that put the Broncos (6-4) ahead to stay at 48-46.

Boise State made 10 straight free throws in the final 2:39 to secure the win, its third in the last four games.

Danny Cavic had 18 points off the bench for the Dons (4-8), who have lost three straight. Cavic made five 3-pointers in seven attempts before fouling out.

San Francisco's Armondo Surratt added 13 points and seven assists and Alan Wiggins had 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Dons led 34-31 at halftime but then missed 10 of 12 shots over an eight-minute span as Boise State stretched its lead to 57-50 with 4:59 remaining.

San Francisco never got closer than four the rest of the way.
