CINCINNATI (AP) -- Eric Hicks had a career-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds and seven blocked shots, leading Cincinnati over North Carolina A&T 105-69 Friday night for the Bearcats' eighth straight win.

Hicks scored 16 first-half points to help his the Bearcats (11-2) build a 52-34 lead at the break. James White added 23 points for Cincinnati.

Michael Hayes led the Aggies (0-10) with 14 points. Jason Wills added 11 points and Trahern Chaplin scored 10 for North Carolina A&T, which lost its eighth road game this season.

The Bearcats are on their longest winning streak since they opened last season with 11 consecutive victories. They didn't get much resistance from the Aggies, who were finishing a six-game road trip and had to play in Cincinnati just three days after a 66-60 loss at Hawaii.

Devan Downey added 13 points and 11 assists for Cincinnati. Cedric McGowan scored 12 points, and Armein Kirkland and Ronald Allen each had 11 for the Bearcats, who make their Big East debut Wednesday against DePaul.
