    PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Antoine Agudio scored 23 points, including a game-winning jumper with 1:01 left to play, in leading Hofstra to a 71-70 comeback victory over La Salle on Friday night.

    Loren Stokes added 18 points for Hofstra (8-2), while Adrian Uter added 12. Steven Smith had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Explorers (8-2).

    La Salle took its biggest lead of the game, 69-61, with 4:32 remaining. Agudio then made a free throw, and Aurimas Kieza hit a 3-pointer, a driving lay-up and then a steal for a basket to force a 69-69 tie with 1:44 to go.

    After Smith made one of two free throws at the 1:14 mark, Agudio made his ten-foot, game-winning shot.

    La Salle led 38-36 at halftime despite 15 points by Agudio, who made 5-of-9 shots including 4-of-4 from 3-point range.
