Richmond 52, William & Mary 50

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- Gaston Moliva's layup with 24 seconds
remaining and a free throw by Jermaine Bucknor sealed Richmond's
52-50 win over William and Mary on Saturday.

Brian Hutt missed a jumper at the buzzer that would have tied
the game.

Richmond (6-6) won despite an 11:38 field goal drought midway
through the game.

Oumar Sylla's layup with 10:10 remaining ended the dry spell for
Richmond, then the Tribe (5-6) went cold and could manage only two
field goals in the game's final 8:50.

One of those, a layup by Corey Cofield, drew William and Mary to
51-50 before Bucknor sank one of two free throws.

Bucknor and Jarhon Giddings each had 11 points for Richmond

Calvin Baker led the Tribe with 9 points.

Richmond held William and Mary without a 3-pointer for the first
time this season, while the Spiders were 7-for-18 from 3-point
