Pacific 83, Cal State Fullerton 74

STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) -- Christian Maraker had 26 points and 14
rebounds, and Pacific scored 12 consecutive points late in the
second half to beat Cal State Fullerton 83-74 Monday night.

Johnny Gray had 21 points and seven assists for the Tigers, who
held Fullerton scoreless over a four-minute span late in the game
to turn a tie game into a 78-66 advantage with 1:11 remaining.

Michael White added 12 points for Pacific (10-5, 1-1 Big West),
which bounced back after having its 31-game winning streak in Big
West games snapped Saturday by a home loss to UC Riverside.

Bobby Brown had 22 points to lead Fullerton (8-5, 2-2). Jermaine
Harper scored 19 points for the Titans, Jamaal Brown had 13 and
Frank Robinson scored 10.

The game was tied eight times and there were 12 lead changes
before Pacific began its late run on a basket by White with 4:32

Pacific jumped to an early 11-2 lead and made its first six
shots from the field. But Fullerton got even at 15-15 on Bobby
Brown's 3-pointer midway through the first half, and the two teams
weren't separated by more than four points the rest of the half.

There were seven lead changes before the break as the only two
Big West teams with winning records traded baskets. Bobby Brown
made each of his four 3-point attempts and had 18 points at

Harper made four of six 3-pointers and had 13 points at the
break. Maraker had 16 points at halftime and Gray had 12.

Jamaal Brown's jumper in the lane with two seconds remaining in
the half broke the game's third tie and gave Fullerton a 41-39 edge
at halftime. The Titans stretched that lead to 46-42 early in the
second half before Pacific rallied.
