HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Tony Skinn scored 12 of his 17 points
in the second half as George Mason broke open a close game after
halftime for a 65-43 win over James Madison Saturday night.
The Patriots (12-4, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association) shot just
29.6 percent in the first half to James Madison's 34.6 percent to
led 22-21 at halftime.
But George Mason started the second half with a 12-0 run and
never let up, leading by as many as 23. The Patriots shot 58.6
percent after halftime.
Juwann James had 10 points for James Madison (3-11, 0-6), the
only player to score in double digits.
Butler had a 3-pointer and two free throws as George Mason went
up 5-0 in the first minute of play. James Madison tied it four
times before the Patriots took a 22-21 lead off Skinn's layup with
