George Mason 65, James Madison 43

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- Tony Skinn scored 12 of his 17 points
in the second half as George Mason broke open a close game after
halftime for a 65-43 win over James Madison Saturday night.

The Patriots (12-4, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association) shot just
29.6 percent in the first half to James Madison's 34.6 percent to
led 22-21 at halftime.

But George Mason started the second half with a 12-0 run and
never let up, leading by as many as 23. The Patriots shot 58.6
percent after halftime.

Jai Lewis had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Patriots, who
outrebounded the Dukes 41-29. Lamar Butler added 10 points.

Juwann James had 10 points for James Madison (3-11, 0-6), the
only player to score in double digits.

Butler had a 3-pointer and two free throws as George Mason went
up 5-0 in the first minute of play. James Madison tied it four
times before the Patriots took a 22-21 lead off Skinn's layup with
1:02 to go in the first half. Neither team scored again before the
